As a passionate gamer and tech enthusiast, I’ve been following your incredible work in pushing the boundaries of keyboard technology. Currently, I use the Corsair K70 MK2 Low Profile, primarily for its low-profile design, but it lacks the innovation and functionality that Wooting consistently delivers. I wanted to share some ideas for a potential low-profile Wooting keyboard, which I believe could fill a significant gap in the market while showcasing your technical excellence.
Form Factors
A low-profile version with a total height of 20–26 mm to cater to gamers seeking a sleek, ergonomic design.
Offering sizes such as full-size, 65%, and 80%, providing flexibility for different user needs.
Incorporating Gateron Low Profile Magnetic Jade switches, which would integrate perfectly into Wooting’s ecosystem.
Features
8000 Hz polling rate via cable for industry-leading responsiveness. A wireless mode could be included as a secondary option, even if with reduced performance.
Retain the iconic magnetic wrist rest but enhance ergonomics for longer gaming sessions.
Add media controls, including play, pause, skip forward/backward buttons, and an audio wheel for precise volume adjustments.
Include a Win-lock key for seamless mode switching and a macro key row on the left side, inspired by the Corsair K95.
Build Quality
Use a chassis made of anodized, brushed aluminum, ensuring durability and a premium look, while minimizing plastic use.
Support for global layouts (ISO, ANSI) with key regional variations like German and French to cater to a wider audience.
