Hey folks. I am a long time Wooting Consummer. I devour a lot of your products. I really appreciate the quality and the support these products maintain throughout their long lifecycle.
These keyboards are amazing in regards to performance and customizability (mostly 60He and 80He up to a degree)
I understand that Wootomation is no longer a focus, and although completely understand and actually agree on the decision, this creates a void regarding macro support in Wooting Keyboards.
May I please know if there is (or ever will be) some effort on wootility and keyboard firmware for simple macro implementation directly on the firmware: Nothing fancy, most probably some QMK Mods (think MOD Tap but with Modifiers)
Without some certain degree of functionality it is becoming extremely difficult to justify/recommend Wooting Keyboards with the competitors evolving as they are (specially the ones supporting QMK)

I would really like to hear you honest thoughts on this
(Alternatively, have you considered launching a keyboard line dedicated to mainstream/office powerusers) ?

Thanks. I haven't seen it before. Some of my (work) needs are also covered there. Basically the ability to configure MOD Tap or DKS with Modifiers:
MT(MOD_LCTL,KC_CAPS) - QMK Code for CAPS to behave as Ctrl on Long press, and CAPS toggle when pressed ; thus basically adding HHKB layout 😉
SC_LSPO and SC_RSPC for Space Cadet
and other modifiers (ex: https://docs.qmk.fm/feature_advanced_keycodes )
For example, my Backspace actually acts as a Ctrl+KC_BSPC and deletes the complete word . Backspace functionality is behind another layer

With these implementations, even on a 60HE we could be productive in the office
