Is that wooting 40he
80he
They’re the Kana caps you can buy direct from Wooting.
Link?
Dang I like these but I hate how they aren’t on sale like the other ones 😦
How do you like the Sayl chair? Haha also nice wireless AP, I use the same one.
The Sayl is comfy and sexc. Win-win!
How much is it?
It used to be about USD $500, before COVID/Ukraine/inflation, now it's about $800. 😅
Still goes on sale for around $650 though.
Rip, I might get the secretlabs chair clone ($250 usd. Heard most reviewers said it’s good, almost one to one copy
Steelcase chairs would be my top choice for cheaper alternatives to Herman Miller. Every Secretlabs I've sat in has left me saying "what da fuq?"
But, if it's a genuinely good copy, I'm sure it's good!
They mention the cushion is on par, maybe a tad bit in quality, so I’ll take your suggestion
Steelcase Amia was what we used at my old job, very durable chair and seats nicely.
I’ll look into it, thanks
we have same chair
i'm more interested in the sim setup 😛
SF1 seat, Simucube wheel base, Heusvinkeld pedals, Pimax 8KX HMD. 👌
that's awesome, looks fairly compact as well
Yeah, TR80 cockpit. Modular and flexible, but not a space hog. Makes it easier when you don’t race on monitors.
isn't the pimax kinda bulky? i was eyeing this bigscreen vr, super tiny "headset"
but i guess nothing beats the fov of the pimax 😅
For sim racing, FOV > every other spec.
Experientially, nothing comes close to the 8KX.
i imagine, i only got to try the original oculus cv and the quest 2, i'm guessing those are not even close to the experience of the pimax 😄
Quest 2 has sharper optics, but it’s like looking down a cardboard tube in comparison.
