#Console typing "éxec" when it should be "exec"

After Starting Counter Strike 2, usually the first thing I do is open the console and type "exec" the first letter instead of "e" is "é" (In French, there are 3 different accents on « e ») , my keyboard Layout is ENG INTL, and it happens only in CS2.
I have no relation to French, Im not French, my Layout isn't set in French, and I do not live in France.

I have done a fresh install, and I just changed my PC today after a fresh install, I had this bug before aswell, on the older computer.

*The only common thing right now is the Two HE Keyboard with the beta.utility drivers uptodate.

Sounds like a windows language pack or something on your machine. Keyboard language

#

I don’t think keyboards type in a certain language, they just send an input and your OS interprets that and presents the character in whatever language you have selected?
Unless I’m wrong and a Mouse could send a click in French as well lol

Have you tried to change the console keybind if that changes anything? Google said for german layout default console key is the ´-accent-key for example.

its because of ENG INTL

#

in the international keyboard languages the ` and others are dead keys. this means they wait for the next character to see if it can be combined into an accented version

#

heavily depends on the application handling the input if this causes issues or not

either press space after a dead key or dont use internationalized layouts
