I’ve had low profile he keyboard for a few months now, NuPhy Air60 HE. If their dks isn’t a hot mess, this would have been my main
Low profile Hall Effect switches don't make sense for fast response...you can just program the actuation point higher up to get a faster response as is. The only real argument for low profile HE switches is for ergonomics, but that'd be a hard sell, and you can still put low profile Cherry MX-compatible key caps on them if you so desire.
you dont like it why
what is dks
Low profile he switches might feel and sound different than standard size he switches, but they will perform the same. Low profile switches allows the manufacturer to make thinner and perhaps lighter overall keyboard.
I like the keyboard, it's their broken dks that's putting me off. The very slow firmware update frequency, like once a month, especially on buggy firmware is concerning. And also a handful of regression bugs. It's like they don't know how their firmware works, trying to fix something and it'll break something else.
DKS allows you to bind up to 4 keys to be activated at different depth. For example you can bind W and Shift key so when you partially press W, it will just send W. But when you fully press W, it will send Shift and W.
a ok but for the normal rapid trigger its okay no
