As someone who sits in basically the same way near the window, I can assure you that having it managed will prevent future headaches, your feet may not contact it now but when it does, you may suffer.
But let's say you never do, at least having it managed will make cleaning the bottom easier when needed when eventually dust and junk accumulates on the bottom
Also just great when you need to upgrade/swap a device or something and not having to fight 100 cables
Doesn't even have to be good cable management (though making it good will probably help)
Just Velcro it to the underside of the desk or something to keep it out of the way
