the split set cost me around $120 usd including shipping
most expensive set of keycaps i own but god DAMN it was so worth it

Is this with the Lekker switches or did you swap those too? i'm starting to wonder if i should change my order to be the ghost/frost case instead of the zinc. I'm slowly falling in love with the thock and the PCR cases seem to have the better (lower) sound signature

these are the lekker v2s ! i had originally purchased the white zinc case but decided to cancel that order when i saw that they were having that big sale a while back (frost case was $10 if i remember correctly ?? absolute steal !!) i dont have a zinc case to compare it to unfortunately but i really love the sound profile of this overall. keep in mind thats referring to the full kit i have (cerakeys and all)

Yeah. I’ve found a couple sound clips of the 80he pcr case with cerakeys and it sounds lovely. I haven’t been able to find a sample with a zinc case. I haven’t heard a bunch of sound samples of the zinc cases. Sounds good, but not as good as the pcr case with cerakeys. Did you flip your switches to be south facing like I’ve read? Thanks for the initial response! 🙂

i put them in north facing ! ive never heard of flipping them before, whats the purpose of that ?

also despite having the pcr case the cerakeys make the board incredibly heavy !! so i figure that if combined w the zinc case it might be immovable lol

I had searched this discord for anything with 80he. I believe the user Caine about 5 months ago. I guess due to switch design and the key cap design there can be interference.

ohhhh okok i have the lekker v2 60s !!! the switches theyre referring to there are the lekker 45s !!! ive heard before that the 45s had a rough time w the spacebar but the 60s have been working great for me so far !!!

But I purchased a frost case too, wanted a white chase, no budget for zinc so got the frost

from what ive heard the 45s have trouble handling the weight of the spacebar. ive seen some people say that it feels "mushy"

i would just put your backup switch in spacebar

thats what i did with my GEON Raw HEs

full keyboard of geon raws but spacebar was lekker60 v1
