can i hear what that sounds like?
just know the layout
i know my layout just by feel
what’s ur wpm typing speed
mine is fast but idk if i know my layout too well
go on monkey type rn and do a 30 secs test
no thanks
have the keys memorized
i average 140 wpm
its hella quiet but ill record rq hold on
phone mic doesn’t do it justice honestly sounds heavenly irl
ah okay
which switches are u using?
nvm i just read it, black knights
yea
nice setup honestly
ty <3
i just got my geon raws today and honestly i do like them but the sound of them is a big iffy, i definitely need to lube them whenever i have time
lubing makes the sound a lot nicer
yea i lubed my old lekker v1's and they sounded alot better, though i overlubed more than half my switches which is why i had to get new ones
bit of an oopsie from my side but its alright
i did reuse one lekker tho, for my spacebar
geon raws sound better than the v1s anyways
^
scam my max is 120 random words
because the geon raw just sounded too harsh on my spacebar
mine is also random words
ill do one rq for you
do monkey type
i do laptop keyboard so wooting might boost my wpm when it comes
youre gonna type slower on a mechanical keyboard
my laptop speed i averaged 150+
if u stick to high profile keycaps, yeah
which most people do ^
fair
these are cherry profiles
honestly wouldve gotten higher profile ones if cerakey had because they sound nicer
im gonna see what cerakeys sound like on youtube rq
bet
damn ur fast af
ty
i’m fastest in my class and probably year and i’m no where near you
youll get there dw
The switches are 55g right? How are they? Wondering what att force is ideal for cerakeys
yea they are
ive been told the only switch that needs a higher force is the spacebar which should be 80-100g
but my 55g switch works
it very slightly sluggish but you wont really notice it that much
id say 50gf is an overall good "force level" regardless of what u use, obviously this is preference based but thats just my thoughts on it
are cerakeys worth it
definately
worth the 100$
if you value sound, yes
the sound of your keyboard is the sum of all its parts but the ceramic keycaps are probably like 60% the sound of mine
i want a light sounding key, nothing too loud
soft and gentle
nothing thocky
creamy and poppy is fine
these are quiet and thocky
sound test?
wait so u cant hear them when playing games usually
(i hate loud sounds)
ima need ur switches and ur keys
especially if youre wearing headphones
