Today I noticed some weird behaviour which seemed to me to be related to the usb port and/or the connection on my brand new 80HE. Since most people don't move their keyboards that often issues like this may go unnoticed until the 2 years of warranty is past. This got me thinking about a second usb-c port on the right side of the keyboard.
For most people this would serve as a practical second option to arrange your desk space how you want, it could however also serve as a backup in case the first one is ever to break or malfunction. I haven't checked the internet to see the internals of the 80HE but I doubt there isn't enough space to fit a 2nd port. Lastly this could serve as a valuable addon to people who have both their work/school laptop and their gaming pc on a single desk since you wouldn't need to re-plug the cable all the time.
Also my crack ass drop crtl has this bruh cmon now -_-
3 reasons in short:
- redundancy/backup
- extra desk layout option
- easy (not aesthetic) for users with 2 pc's
