#60he analog input/double movement in Fortnite

I seem to be a bit out of the loop, so please excuse me if this has been asked before, but I honestly tried to search for this and I got very conflicting responses.

I have had a 60he for some time and have used analog movement ever since. Basically a slightly modified profile of this one: https://profiles.wooting.io/profile/be55bde3-6bc0-479d-802b-e7b92341003f

Some time ago this stopped working. I think it was somewhere in September. It was around the time I updated the firmware of my keyboard (I hadn't done that in a while) Because of other things happening I didn't really look into it any further.

However, today I tried looking into it and I am totally confused. For sure I know the "double movement" app that worked with any key no longer works. However, it is totally unclear to me whether or not the 60he "hardware" double movement should still work.

When I am in the game, Fortnite does not seem to pick up any analog movement at all. For instance, when it worked, I was able to navigate the menus with the analog keys, now nothing happens.

So my question:

  • Is this still supposed to work?
  • And if yes, how can I debug the issue?

Ok, too bad. It is strange that they keep the settings such as "ignore gamepad input" and "lock input method" because I think that is how the wooting keyboards work, they present as both a keyboard and a controller.

I just wanted to correct this, but, as I suspected, double movement/analog input still works in Fortnite if you have a Wooting keyboard. The issue was that for some reason, my gamepad mode was reset to "no gamepad". For sure, I did not do this manually, I suspect that one of the updates that I mentioned did this.

So if you have a keyboard, everything still works, just make sure gamepad mode is set to "Xbox Controller"
