#80HE Black Zinc Top Case not flat/warped

Looking for other opinions on this while I wait to hear back from Wooting Support.

Received my 80HE on Wednesday 25th September and got to building it last night.

Once I finished building my keyboard and have noticed that there is a wobble on the lower left corner of the zinc case. I have verified that the screws are not over tightened and have verified on other flat surfaces with the same issue occurring. No other keyboard wobbles on the same surface either.

Since verifying on different surfaces I have done more testing. If I loosen the screws the wobble is still there. I have tried loosening each screw individually to see if I could get any improvement but this made little to no difference. I then tried removing the top case leaving only the module and the bottom case - the wobble stopped. I then placed the top cover down and clearly found a wobble with that on its own. The issue seems to be with the top case cover.

My tests were performed with the removable feet not attached to the case so that I could verify that the fault wasn't with the feet.

I've attached three videos:

Does anyone have any opinions on this please? Seems strange that the top cover would be warped. I've seen a handful of others with zinc cases having similar issues but haven't seen as far as the top case having an issue.

Just wanted to add I have the exact same issue (also black zinc case)

Contact wooting support for replacement if you have any bending issues. It's covered by warranty

Did anyone here end up contacting support? I've been travelling but just got home so planning to contact them now. Wasn't sure if this had already been addressed somewhere

Just as an update for anyone else reading. Support got back to me today and agreed that I am applicable for a warranty replacement. Thought I would update in case anyone else is having a similar issue 🙂

I made a post showing how bad it is, can't tell if its the feet or the case itself which is the issue. Definitely not acceptable for expensive the case is.

They did say it wasn't a wide issue so maybe just unlucky?

might not be widespread but so many are reporting the exact same issue,

my replacement issue had the same issue as well im using a band-aid to level it but its still not properly leveled
