dots on the LED bar

there are 2 annoying dots on the sides of the LED bar, other people have it, is it because of the way the LED bar is attached to the keyboard?
Can it be changed in new batches?
it's the only "meh" about this perfect keyboard

EDIT: a frost case user said he doesn't see it on his. Since wooting uses 2 different LED bar (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSCcVL1qAik&t=6s at 0:30) probably this problem it's only on the darker once, OR it's just dust under the bar

I don’t have that on my unit but it’s a frost case, so not a smokey LED bar.

if it's dust, it's under the LED bar, if it's not against the warranty i'll try disassemble it and check, i also remember watching a video from wooting saying that the led bar used in black keyboards and white keyboards are lil different, maybe it's a problem of the darker one

I think I remember seeing it somewhere before though in some wooting video

if you cant remove it by taking out the led bar and gently nudging it with a brush or blowing it out feel free to email us

and no disassembling something doesnt void warranty if you just disassemble it carefully. in this case since you dont take out the pcb to get at the ledbar there shouldnt be a risk to any connector ripping off or such

and wtf why are the led like that?

can it be the dot on the 3/4 of the LED? it alligns with the dot, but if it’s the reason why, the other LEDs should have it

I don’t think that’d be possible with the pressure but it could be a spec of something in the plastic itself.

They move when the solder melts, it’s a bit much here but not abnormal.

Yeah I have them too. They are perfectly centered so it doesn't seem like just some dust but idk. Have you managed to clean it out or did wooting respond?

i tried to clean it, no results.
These days i got distracted a lot so i forgot to write to wooting (the first time i got a message "go here to get support" or something like that), maybe tomorrow i'll write a mail
