an alternative to dks where you can set 4 keys/key combinations but only one gets triggered based on the height you release/lift the key at you could use mutiple abilities or access multiple menus over just one key or use the alternative functions of any key without needing to press anything else that would be insane for coding or writing lower and uppercase with only one key and you could still do everything very fast and dont need to hold anything the only limitation is that it wouldnt work for holding keys since it just presses the key once at the release/lift point but still this would give so much possibilities

It could be very handy. If it worked like a range, as in from 0.1 to 1.3mm is key combination A, from 1.3 to 2.7mm is key combination B and from 2.7 to 4mm is key combination C. With that you could “hold” a combination when you release a key slightly but still in that key combination’s range. Know what I mean?
This is an example of three key combination ranges.
very nice addition but to work nicely you got to set a range like 0.2-2mm for keycombi A release it once with a set sensetivitly like release more than 0.2mm from first lift point and then its hold down until the key goes outside of the 0.2-2mm range without mattering if it gets lifted or pressed as long as it stays in that range or even do like that if you lift it it starts holding A and from that point you can press the key fully down to hold A since you "selected" your key and this key will only reset if it gets fully up once or alternatively over the 0.2mm but to remove any not usable down press range after key is selected so holding is more comfortable and you can press down how you like to hold the key after its selected at first lifting point
Yeah exactly, the amount of ranges could be adjustable as well depending on what’s practical for a specific user. I think a range of 1.3mm would be fine for me personally but a 2mm range is more forgiving.
