remapping layer keys wont work

If i remap fn layer keys the keyboard doesnt save the remap, save to keyboard on the top right doesnt show up and when i use the key it presses the key that was mapped before i changed it, yes the dot on the top left is green i resetted the keyboard multiple times and i tried switching profiles, anyway to fix?
