What type of lube is used in the Lekker V2s? The Yellows from the same manufacturer have a problem where the Yellow stem discolors the lube which then stains the bottom housing. I would think this is not an issue as long as thicker lube is used or if a different yellow pigment was used in the V2s (the Teal switches don’t have this issue).

maybe im just blind but i cant see any discolored lube or stains
The lube (oil) itself that is used is discolored. It’s yellow. The rail of the bottom housing is slightly stained yellow as well.
Staining isn’t really an issue but that the lube carries the pigment is.
Doesn’t happen with the teal version.
i mean i disassembled a few v2 l45s and have not noticed any pigments in the lube or such
also no really advanced methods i used. i took 5, opened them, took out the spring and stem and then used a cotton swab to swipe up the lube and see if the cotton swab looks discolored where the lube is
is the one you posted new or has it been used in a keyboard already?
I got it a while ago but have never used it. Just sitting in the collection. I have never seen this happening with Krytox so I think it’s because of the oil they used (same stuff used in most of their switches except for the Raw HEs). Hence the question, I think if it’s Kry that’s used in Lekker V2s it’s fine.
