Thumb useage is nice though. adding more features to do besides spacebar.
I asked for this a while ago.

I just find the ergonomics of a gamepad nice, but something that always bugged me is how far I have to stick out my thumb because of the “spacebar” and thumb sticks, wish it was tucked in a little more to let my thumb lay straighter instead of full-lock lmao.
tbh i used one once that didnt have a thumbstick and loved it, i also used one of the 2 piece ergo boards for a while and found being able to move one to the side and get obscene amounts of horizontal mouse space was great for games i play, i would love to see a wooting version of one of these or just a 2 piece ergo board (i use an ergo board for typing stuff and a 60he for gaming as of right now)
Lmao 20 days of asking for it to happen and they asked u to stop 😭
I almost hit a month 😔
5 month bump on the request :D
Rebump on the subject 😇
I've been using those (gamepads) for a decade and it became a must for me, the ergonomy, the accessibility, the space saving, the keys being aligned, the arrows inputs (being able to press 6-10 inputs rather than only two with the thumb is hella underrated), so many small game changers details that are absent from the conventional keyboards nowadays...
I've had a wooting 2HE for at least 5 years by now, but I had to reach out to razer support due to faulty input on my tartarus (due to their awful software that bricked the firmware of the device, you can't save a local profile on it but the software can break it anyway unlike wootility), and being forced to play with keyboard layout is a struggle for me, all that to wait for a razer product...
Razer sell those to the price of a top tier keyboard, probably for half the manufacturing price.
Having a wooting version of those would very likely shoot up the demand for those niche yet useful type of stuff, free me up from razer please ! 😭
The biggest downside that draw people away from those is the proprietary strategy from razer that does everything to not even allow you to customize, as for replacing keycaps for exemple, you're forced to use regular sets only sold by them (due to a grid you litteraly have to saw off to be able to use other caps).
Also, the HE tech in the tartarus are not even close to be as good in comparision to wooting's, so it would be a double win for me... 👉 👈
I know there's probably more demand for numpads than actual gamepads over here, but it could satisfy both clans... 🤐
