RS is cool & very imp for certain games (not mine unfortunately), mostly when RT is off, but even with RT on Snap Tap would help so so much in any game & would be the solution to making every single thing about the lekker switches perfect in a technological view. (Besides the deadzone idea @thick pewter gave here https://canary.discord.com/channels/167181566978555904/1195392307327938711) (With that, the board would actually be perfected.) switchypat

Rappy Snappy
Rappy Snappy does that by allowing the A key to take priority once you press it deeper than the D key. The assumption is that you are actively letting go of the D key and are starting to tap the A key. This saves approximately 50% of the time it takes to release a key.

Snap Tap
Snap Tap (last input priority SOCD handling) doesn't care about what you do with the D key, and will both activate the A key at the first moment that you press it and deactivate the D key. This saves exactly 100% of the time it takes to release the key, and also you don't have to bother about releasing the D key at all, it just does it for you. By doing so, it essentially eliminates the intended counter strafing mechanics, which could be considered to override the game developer's intention.

Not going to lie, I would take some kind of RT. But, I think this is really pushing it as far as whether or not it's cheating. Like Optimum said, there is already an existing script that would do this exact thing on any keyboard that is considered blatant cheating. Seems to me the only difference here is that people are more than likely not aware of Razer allowing their keyboards to do the same thing

Will Wooting implement SOCD handling? (Snap Tap)

This has not yet been decided.
We were allowing time for people, communities, pros, and organizations to digest the feature and decide the best approach.
Optimum also doing his part in bringing the feature to light and encouraging discussion.
We're at or near the point where we can make a decision.

For other pc players its most definitely cheating. its crossing the line between actual skill and hardware diff

is having a faster gpu to get higher fps cheating then as well? what about the folks that can game only at 60fps whereas someone else may get 240fps because they have a better setup? hardware diff already exists on many fronts

Wooting should add this Asap in beta, losing customers as we speak. Its a huge topic in cs atm.

People buy and remember the hype, lets get this shipped asap! Atleast a statement that confirms it is coming soon.

obviously a difference in hardware will always exist, but currently those differences dont keep anyone from doing something mechanically
