Note: Since i switched into a new plate the stabilizers fitting became more tighter so some of the modifiers feel mushy

Note : "The silicone pad gives a more muted experience of the sound profile by lowering more mid frequencies and creates shorter, snappier sounds. The foam pad mutes more of the higher frequencies creating more emphasis on 'thock'."- Wooting

"Although poron should mute higher frequencies, silicone lowers the mid frequencies which could mean that if the switch is neutral or low pitched then it should stay low pitched but more quiet vice versa with high frequency i presume which is why its more muted"- The Thackson

As i made a statement about this right here from the Wooting PC Plate website, these three tests proves that the poron does in fact remove the higher frequency sound of the switch/board making the sound profile much deeper than the switch actually sound , however looking back at the silicone sound test, the pad does in fact remove the mid frequency which would make the board sound more muted yet still clacky as so. As the silicone pad removes the mid frequency of the board it will now mostly rely on how the switch sounds (Low pitched or high pitched), if the switch like the RAW HE or Jades for example is a higher pitched switch, the board will now sound clacky BUT muted, but if the switch is neutral/lower pitched like the KS20U, lekkers, Raptors/Fraken Raptors, and etc, the board will sound the same but more quieter.

I put a little foam sticker like that goes under dining chair legs on the metal part of the clamp under the desk tho

I think the newer one has covers over the arms (I don't love the look of them) and a slightly different base
