#Dynamic Keystroke(OSU!STD)

that's cheating and you'll get banned lmao
guess you just bind x two times in the DKS window and that should be it then
and same for z
actually now that i'm thinking it's not cheating.
only because wooting did everything better.
the reason of DKS being controversial is because the other rt kboard/kpad brands don't have it and they should invent it right now because it's that broken than normal rt and osu! will revolutionize to the real new era /s
and because i'm not a wooting user i should cry in the corner because i'm missing out on the meta /lmfao
it's up to 4 inputs per one action, automatically cheating
i think you're missing the point, here i'll unspoilered my message 😅 🙏
what is your point?
that because wooting allows you to cheat by making more than one input per key, the other brands should too?
then cheating should be allowed to begin with and performance/competition loses its meaning
the /s was the point.
idk, maybe? 🤷
I didn't see it 😅
don't worry i was just messing with you. 😄 👍
the text wrapped in a way that split the / and the s on different sides of my screen
i'm used to insane takes on the web so it seemed like someone was seriously making the point
it's fine. i mostly approach serious takes on the internet sarcastically.
not all opinions on the internet needs to be handled/taken tensely. so.. yeah.
but it is what it is man the damage has been done, you've seen it on the field and nothing else we can do about it basicly.
everyone's just goofing off rn until the devs have their hand down on the keyboard, there's where the judgement day comes i guess /lol
like that ?
no clue
is this for wooting uwu avaible too?
we are in contact with ppy on how to maybe detect or disable it for osu
unsure what the future holds but ppy def doesnt like it
they way the cheat/rule break works is that you bind 1 of your 2 keys with dks to have the same key be pressed when you start releasing
so if you usually single tap z and x separately you would for example map z cause its your non dominant finger to be dks with z being pressed from the 3rd plus up to right before the 4th plus. then you can just double tap both at the same time and easily stream faster
so x is pressed on the actual press while z gets pressed when you release. and thats also why its against the rules. its automating something you should be doing (as in single taping both keys) into a double tap
lots of lingo and stuff we didnt know but glad osu! community explained it to us as a company
ahhhh okay I see now why some people could argue it's not cheating
since it's still one action per key but you're fundamentally altering the way streams are intended to be played and thus lowering their difficulty
correct
but yeah we also missed the rule about fair play that quite literally states if there is an automation doing something for you that you should do yourself its not allowed. and its also a very novel use of DKS we (and ppy) havent seen or even imagined.
