#trade-in

What companies let you do this atm?
You can already do something similar by selling your 2HE. I think you’d get more by selling it than its trade-in value would ever be. I mean, look at all those phone companies that do this. 🤣
No bro
In terms of keyboards I don't think there are any.
But I kno' for phones there are a couple of companies that do this e.g apple, samsung aswell as their retaolers o2, EE, vodafone etc.
I kno' there are some schemes for older cars that do this too.
Yes, regarding the last part, highest I got for a trade in phone was around 450£ and that was with my s20 ultra, I ve upgraded to newer s22 ultra back then, and I ve got earbuds and smartwatch for free.. I mean I payed maybe 300£ with this difference.
But a trade in suggestion for wooting isn't that bad, as they can sell the keyboard by pieces or reuse in some cases...
Doubt we will see this in years, if ever. Just doesn’t make sense for Wooting.
We have no plans to offer a trade-in service.
I see, May I inquire if there have been deliberations regarding this matter? Additionally, could you please delineate the potential advantages and disadvantages associated with the proposed trade? Furthermore, I am curious about factors such as costs, anticipated customer satisfaction, and any other pertinent considerations.
We don't have any interest in receiving used keyboards back, requiring us to inspect, clean and potentially repair them - with the prospect of reselling them as refurbished products.
Thank you for providing that information. In light of your policy regarding used keyboards, could you elaborate on the options available for customers who wish to trade in their keyboards? Additionally, I'm interested in understanding how this policy aligns with ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality standards of your products.
Bro it's not that deep
It’s not bad per se, just not feasible. Phone companies make a loss on phones that are traded in, they also trash the majority of it rather than refurbishing. I’ve also never seen them offer more than what you could get second hand, if they did we wouldn’t have a second hand phone market. What I would think be a more feasible suggestion is for Wooting to sell individual replacement components, like the HE sensors and LEDs for example. As all they do now is sell a brand new PCBA afaik.
That doesn't make sense, when you are trade in your phone surerly they will give u less of what is worth if you are lyin.. but u might hv more info then I would kno'. From my experience u get the max for a phone (2nd hand price) if its fubctional.
Now what they do with these phones after either use them are refurbished or use their pieces is what the company way of recycling stuff.
I might sound like I am complaining, but so far wooting is one pf the best when it comes to keyboards, and its level upto what they offer.. so such a premium company, not having a system to trade in is a bit weird.. that means they will sell high quality stuff, that they will release better stuff in near future, and they do not want to take their older prototypes back as they do not hv value?
Surerly at their high price they can find value and improve customer satisfaction in near future.
Idk explain to me you have gold and u sell it , but u don't want to get it back? Is it gold then?
