#binding macro to key instead of a character

Would love this, considering logitech had this in 2005 I feel like its completely achievable especially if they're just virtual keys
You mean layers? How many layers do you need? You can configure up to 4 layers currently:
@zenith moat Yes, 4 layers, but when you need some macro, you bind it to specific key like "Home", but it overrides system home, it would be more awesome to have possibility assign it to virtual keys
well usually people start by macroing ctrl+key then shift+key then alt+key then ctrl+shift+key then ctrl+alt+key then shift+alt+key and finally ctrl+shift+alt+key. basically 7folds the amount of usable macro keys and can basically be done with almost all keys
yeah, but what if macros were located on fn layer. it looks convenient
no action buttons could be replaced with action
just really want M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6 so i can assign those keys to simple macros which arent already other keybinds which have other functions like numpad
Is macro even being develop? Would really like to have macros in the keyboard so it can be used to log in.
NuPhy has implemented macros, and it works well enough that it's integral to my gaming.
Here is my macro setup with NuPhy Field75 HE keyboard.
Please develop macros for Wooting keyboards.
Thank you for bringing me up to speed with the current state of macro with Wooting.
That's really unfortunate that there is no mention of recent firmware development that supports macro.
