The Fair Play Guidelibes state that in all game modes, a player must never cheat, never grief or verbally abuse another player, and never use any automation for any reason.

Are there any Wooting settings that go against these guidelines? Specifically automation, of course. Yes I am serious. I actually care. Don’t come at me about how it doesn’t matter because CS is full of cheaters already.

It seems like people use an auto counter strafing setting, which I think is definitely against the rules

I would avoid anything you would consider a Macro

I'd consider the auto counter strafe to be cheating tbh

hey...can i get the wooting 60HE for playing cs2. i'm dying to try out the rappid trigger and custom acctuation. bcoz i'm trying to start streaming my plays and want to go pro. but i'm still saving up for the streaming accessories and receiving the best keyboard for FPS games would help a long way 😅 👉 👈

The basic stuff is fine like rapid trigger and setting really low actuation points etc... But no macros.

idc i'll block pathways, call my teammates the n word and automate it so when i die i call the guy who killed me a scallywag and a cheater.

Oh, and I will cheat by uhh..... making the game not render anything! yeah! that'll get them...

U can set a DKS for counter strafing, but it's not making a big difference , and u always need to switch modes so you can type in chat "y'all cheaters" otherwise it looks like this "y'adll cheadtersw"

but i know how to strafe...

The DKS counter strafe is more for people who are newer to CS or coming from other games and doesn't really offer an advantage over manually counterstrafing as far as things to avoid besides that would just be the wootomation software for macros

#

Wootomation has some excellent features but it was made for outside of games

Since more CS pro players are using Wooting keyboards in tournaments, any actions you can perform without additional software are definitely within the Fair Play Guidelines.

this is not entirely true

CS pros are using it but the same rules apply to other third party hardware the same as wooting

#

so no macros etc

#

same as other keyboards
