I have a history of not-very-powerful computers so I find them interesting.

so im buying from italy, rn I have a gt 1030 gddr4 version with 2 gb of vram, so the bad one, I have an i5 10 gen, 8gbs of ddr3 ram, a sata 477gb, motherboard was smth like msi 470. this was a prebuilt I bought when I was little, I didnt know anything about pc's so they scammed me, I payed it 1k euros in 2019.
the pc im building has a r7 7800x3d, crucial pro ddr5 32gb 6000mhz, a b650 gigabyte eagle ax, supports ram speed am5 and ddr5 obv, has wifi and idk how it says (OC) at the end, a rx 7900 gre, dunno if to take this one or the 7800xt, one is 549 and the other one 599, they both have 16gb of vram but hte 7900gre has a little higher core clock and boost clock, thermalright frozen notte 360 argb as cpu cooler, heard its cheap and good, saw some reviews it kind of keeps well cooled the cpu, as storage I chose the WD sn850x, it goes till 7300mb/s, psu my friend bought this one and says its good, its the msi mpg a850gf, case the nzxt h6 flow and I took an extra fan
I think both looks and performance are good on this build without throwing any buck away, only thing im not really sure about on looks its the cooler

amd is dropping their 8000 series, they are doing well against nvidia, but still have to do something for intel, 8000 will have the best integrated gpu's, they say its going to be very strong

#

on apex legends 1080p max settings goes almost 100 fps, so its very good as you wont have to buy gpu, on forza horizon it goes down to 80 but still good

Well the 8700G is easily the most powerful APU ever. I’m a fan of the 7000 series CPUs and 7000 GPUs as well.

yea 7000 series are very good gpus, the 7900xtx for half the price performs almost as the 4090 ( one is 2.3k the other one is 1k)

I have no experience with thermal right coolers, but a 360 aio is more than adequate for the 7800x3D. I’d go with the GRE over the 7800xt, but it’s best to look up benchmarks for the games you plan to play so you can make that decision for yourself.

yea 5-10 its not very much, but for 50 euros I think its worth it

I think its better in higher quality games, dunno if instead of 100 fps I get 110, but dont think that wold be very worth it

I dont think amd scams, I think its the best at gpus and cpus, but I think this might be a scam, why should they make another version just for 7% increase, something like 10-15 wold have been better

I mean, it’s not a whole new GPU, it’s just a scaled down 7900 XT, which means they probably saw a market for it and maybe had some cards that would have otherwise been scrapped because they didn’t meet the performance level of the 7900xt

I dont really know, if they wanted to do a downgraded version of the 7900xt 16gb of vram is not too good, as its meant for 4k

I can’t imagine 16 not being enough in both cases for whatever you want, unless you’re doing incredibly demanding stuff.
