A unique gaming focused compact keyboard with great mouse space. Can be used primarily for gaming, with access to full layout if needed.

  • Use Fn to access the other half of the keyboard intuitively ("Fn + Shift" and "Fn + Fn2 + Alt" for the rest) (with pinky for the right side, ring finger for the left (or some other)).

  • Full "TKL" keyboard available with Fn+Fn2.

  • Left side: Volume Knob switch key, Backspace (+Del), Enter (+Ins), Home (+PgUp), End (+PgDn).

  • Left keys can be used as hotkeys in games.

  • Fn + Tab for Caps Lock, Fn + Ctrl for Fn2 layer, etc.

  • Fn replaces Caps Lock, no more accidental misclicks.

  • Ctrl placed more to the right, meaning much more comfortable reaching it from home row position (also ESDF gaming config recommended).

  • Alt key more to the right, much easier accessing it with thumb in games (especially with ESDF). Also easier to reach shortcuts e.g. Linux terminal "Ctrl + Alt + T".

  • Short distance to the left side of the keyboard with pinky (and ring finger).

  • Pretty easy to type on it (at first just by seeing the characters on keys, a bit like on mobile), even if not very fast.
Kb can be fully used/typed on with one hand.

  • Takes little space/hassle when traveling, storing or switching between keyboards.

  • Pretty unique and cool product overall.

R4 shifted 0.25u to the right, but this could be only for the ISO version, since Shift needs to be 1.5u or bigger to reach it comfortably from home row, and also has to connect better with Ctrl (in games, but also some shortcuts) (also makes it more symmetrical and nice). For ANSI can maybe move it back, and have bigger 2.25u Shift (but not really recommended because Fn keys' position on this row wouldn't be as intuitive).

Some different keycaps would follow with order, e.g. instead of Home and End being main, PgUp and PgDn would be main. Also Enter key for R1 and Backspace for R2. About 2 extra Spacebars, one the same, another more custom. Etc.

A small issue I spot here is wanting to bind that Fn key in games (even I do it, in that same place). Would have to be some quick shortcut to I guess remap Fn to its default Caps Lock function, for games where you won't need immediate Fn functionality (but in some other games you could use that shortcut to change between) (but overall you won't even use that key or have issues with it in almost any game (especially if you use ESDF and have more keys on the left this way)).

If there is some kind of comfort issue with Shift and Ctrl not being connected enough (and Shift kind of not being big enough to begin with) - could also have 2.25u Shift for ISO (and ANSI), move R4 back 0.25u to the left, remove that "< >" key (see the "B" key's Fn is unused, shift R4's Fns to the right). Move "< >" key to "| §" key's Fn position (since "< >" is also a very little used key already, but still available pretty easily this way). (Also this way having more standard R2 row, less issues swapping kbs.)

Fn + Arrows could be used for media buttons. Up = Play, Down = Pause.
Ctrl + Spacebar could be the toggle remapping the Fn key to its default Caps Lock and vice versa.
Maybe Fn + Ctrl(Fn2) + Arrows can be used for kb lighting and profiles.

Some additional cooler looking custom Fn keycap (without "Fn" text, but something else, like "44" in some cool way or something else). Not only to make it look better, but also since you (can) use Fn so much, might wear out in years somehow.

ESDF user since 1996 or so here. Have been polishing and improving my setup ever since.

It's no prob playing fast paced FPS and binding 8-10 weapons with all movement inputs comfortably within 4-5 cm of ESDF.
Then play any MMO and use basically the same approach for no muscle memory adjustment.
12 key hotbars with UI elements (character, quests, inventory, etc) without stretching any.

WASD?!
Come on.

Do ppl even game?
