#Dont use fedex.

how do you choose what carrier?
Unfortunate to hear your experience, hopefully the parcel was found.
Generally speaking, all parcel carriers are great in some places and terrible in other places - depends on the humans working in each place.
When we can, we let our customers choose the parcel carrier.
In the US, that's unfortunately not an option at the fulfillment center.
FedEx for me is absolutely shit. Although they arrive earlier on in the day, I’d prefer UPS because they have less stolen packages and never experienced an issue with them asides for them delivering at like 6pm. It just depends on your area.
oh i sure hope this isn't the case for when my 80HE comes in August😅
Label Created is over 48hours
I use fedex for 80he .. fingers crossed 😭
UPS is rubbish too. Out of maybe 10ish, payed for, direct to door deliveries precisely ZERO has been delivered to for. Driver kits and says "Recipient was not home" then drives off 4km to some UPS Accesspoint. I was at home by the door for all deliveries.
Fuck UPS.
august???
Basically, everyone will claim every shipping company is bad because that one time they had X happen or the X service in their location is known for being bad. Fact is, Wooting has to use SOMEBODY for delivery and there isn't a a single option that doesn't have a bunch of people who hate it and have a bad experience with it. So not really sure what people expect.
so what will happen if the package is lost or stolen ? what will wooting do in this matter ?
Yes sir my 80HE comes in august it says
No, I said UPS have 0% success rate.
That is unique to me, and I have been ordering things from all over the world for the last 2 decades. UPS is the ONLY company to blatantly not give a fuck if you paid for direct to door delivery service. They will say they tried to get a hold of you but doesn't manage. Lying to me and their superiors.
But you're saying, feedback and warnings are essentially worthless? Ok.
Geez
Point in case, I have never had any issues with UPS. Because YMMV with these things depending on your local warehouse, clearly the one in your area is an edgecase. Does that mean wooting should stop offering UPS when it works for the vast majority of people? Especially when we consider it might be the only option available for some areas?
I never said feedback and warnnigs are worthless, just that context matters.
Because I assure you, someone has a story like yours for EVERY company they could possible go with, and at the end of the day, they kind of have to go with some of them because the perfection company and the perfect situation doesn't exist. I'm just being realistic.
In either case, the team has been very helpful to the few people who have had issues with their delivery so the only thing you will ever lose is time if things go wrong.
Of course they have to choose anyway. Everyone knows that and knew that before you stated it. You shot down all feedback on delivery companies as a rubbish thing to give feedback on. "Everyone will claim every sånt company is bad".
A customer who provides experiences and feedback on what had worked and not in his area should be highly worthwhile.
But to you it is useless and also dishonest feedback....
I wouldn't agree with if I was the one employing them.
I never really did, I'm just explaining the reality of business. Part of the reason of my comment and it's tone is because it was sent during a time where there were multiple similar threads all complaining about different shipping companies.
It's not realistic to just say "dont use fedex" because that quickly becomes "also don't use USPS, DHL, UPS" and we are left with no options.
I never said people can't voice their complaints, don't put words into my mouth.
