So here is what I'm thinking about your product I use since November 2023 so far:
- The USB cable is a disappointment. High-quality cables are soft as a cooked noodle (spaghetti), this one still has the kinks from the packaging and keeps it shape. The softness comes from plenty of (extra) thin strands and silicone sleeve instead of PVC (as in under the textile one). It does it job, I guess, but for a product in this price range …
- The double shot keycaps are an utter and bitter disappointment as well. While they might be long-lasting, they are fundamentally flawed. The switches themselves shine the LED color through, and I have a few 3rd party keycaps now that show even illumination on the whole cap can be done, but for yours I ended up gluing stickers onto the keycaps. As the 3rd functions (€,µ,{,[,³) are all not visible. They aren't illuminated and hence black on black. And “that ain't it, fam”. And to be honest, I don't care how you do it, I just want it to be done. And, as I said, I know it is possible. See: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BFNW86RJ the ones with the big window are fully and evenly lit, even “upside down” showing that it is possible to get the bottom of the cap lit.
- I know you are hot on web stuff and such, and actually want us to only use the web version of wootility, but I think there is huge potential just "p***ed" away. If you make wootility an always background program and integrate the profile switcher into it, you could achieve Logitech G levels of adaptability. As you could switch to inactive profiles as well, which would allow to have one profile for each application/game.
- Certain things that, I thought, weren't possible until the community support told me otherwise. ⇾ User error.
- Last point: I love that there are / you provide STLs for the keyboard, in case someone wants to do that themselves. However: I hate that the feet are not included. As they are the ones I would modify. (TBH, the ones that are on the keyboard are a bit basic)
