Hi there! An analysis showed me that the software DoubleMovement uses an outdated version of the ViGem driver, which had to retire its name. Any update to said driver breaks the Software completely. See: https://github.com/nefarius/Legacinator

the double movement app for fortnite? that's not getting updated anymore since fortnite has it build in now
It's only for-tnite? I hoped to use it elsewhere. About fortnite … I know a software that name exists, and that's about it.
It's banana simulator, right?
its just a bug in how controller axis get combined
they just turned it into a feature in fortnite
not sure what you wanted to use it for elsewhere, it was just because fortnite had broken controller implementation
Any software that uses WASD has 8 possible directions to move in. 4 cardinal and 4 in between at 45° DoubleMovement allows analog values there. Like 22.5°, or 18,4475° or so. Sooo. Any game that also has controller input would benefit from that. While leaving the keys alone (still be usable as … well, keys … for typing). The main reason for buying this keyboard was, that some games I have use a shit ton of keys (so controller works, but is a pain). But the digital input of just keyboard keys doesn't cut the mustard.
if the game supports controller input, why dont you just use an analog profile then? feel like im missing something here
Yes, you missed that those keys will be gone. Some of those games also have text input or chat functions. (I also have only the "digital" profile configured, and it will take me about an hour to reconfigure any analog to look, feel, and function the same.)
Yeah. Typical user error. I also activated Gamepad mapping override, so keys never worked.
