#DKS Actuation Configuration

I recently had a Razer Huntsman V3 Pro and one of the best features it had was being able to customize the actuation point of two “actions” on a single key press.

I attached a screenshot from a YouTube video to capture the screen in the Synaps software to show exactly what I mean.

Currently, wooting’s DKS feature only allows changing the actuation point of the first “action” where say after I press down to 1.2mm then that’s where my key is activated. For me to then activate the next “action” on the keyboard, I have to fully press down the key which is not great for my usage.

Feels much slower than the Razer keyboard where I could customize the actuation point of the second action to say 2.2mm for faster activation of the secondary function on the same key.

Adding actuation customization for the second function on the same key press would go a long way I think. It gives user more flexibility to configure each keys dynamic functions and overall adds another nice layer of cool interaction.

Razer has a great implementation of this I would love for Wooting to have the same functionality on their great keyboards. Though Razer keyboard don’t have the same 4 functions in DKS like Wooting.

I don’t know if SteelSeries keyboards also have it, but if they do then I would hope Wooting would try and add this sooner than later to offer the most complete package compared to other products.
