#60HE won’t power on anymore

I was using my 60HE like normal when all of a sudden it started to flicker off and on.
I unplugged it to inspect what was going on. Cleaned it since it was pretty dusty.
Plugged it back in and nothing. No LED. No Windows system sounds. Nothing.

I’m using the USB C cable it came with.
I tried another cable as well. Same thing. Will not turn on.

Any ideas on what to do next?

To start, it's best to determine and check the state of the keyboard, as it may be in Restore mode.

To find out in Windows, you can use one of the two methods below:

  1. Device Manager

    • Click on the "Start" button in the taskbar
    • Type in "Device Manager"
      • Select View
        • Select View by container
  2. Bluetooth & devices

    • Click on the "Start" button in the taskbar
    • Type in "Settings"
      • Select Bluetooth & devices
        • Select "Devices"
          • It should be under the category "Other devices"

Please tell me if the device is listed; it may have one of the following names:

  • Wooting (Two He / 60HE / UwU)
  • Wooting Restore
  • Not listed

Doesn’t seem to be listed in both sections.

At this point I'd both try to plug it back in after restarting PC, also in some other USB port, and checking it on some other PC, to narrow down if it's really the problem with the keyboard

I tried plugging into my PS5 and Mac. It also won’t power on with them as well.

#

Will do a PC restart to be save tho.

In that case, from what you have described, this could be power-related, as the keyboard may not be receiving any power.

But just to double-check, could you attempt the things listed below?

  • A different USB port.
  • You can also attempt to restart the PC, as the device may be locked via Windows.
    - A different device
#

Also, just checking, have you performed any keyboard modifications, for example, a case swap or any disassembly in the past?

I have not. It’s default.

You can attempt to disassemble the keyboard and take pictures/inspect the PCBA for any notable damage or possible corrosion or short.

If you do go down that route, I would advise taking pictures of the two locations marked in the image as they are not coated with a light water resistance coating.

Just did a restart and used a different port. Same issue.

#

I just took it apart. This is what mine looks like.

#

I don’t know if that’s good or bad

Going over the pictures, I don't see anything that stands out that could be the problem.

At this point, I don't believe I can help further, and the best course of action is to send an email to official Wooting Customer Support. You can use the "Contact Us" button on the Wooting Hub or send an email to social@wooting.io
Note: Use the email address associated with your order for the fastest resolution.

To help speed up the process, you can include the summary in the email to bring the staff up to speed and avoid troubleshooting for the same thing:
