With all bottom row keys nicely being 1.25u. With many benefits having ALT keys closer to center (easier to press in games, easier for ISO users to reach "{", "[" brackets, and in general).
4.25u Spacebar is the same as 80HEaven, so they compliment each other, also some keycap sets, 75HE will also include one or two extra stylized Spacebars (in general fine to use 4.25, not very expensive to order custom ones, or just buy some cheap vanilla and customize yourself).
Can have some Knob somewhere top right.

also why is there more keys on the left of the spacebar?

because all keys are 1.25, and Spacebar has to stay as centered to like home row (between G and H) as possible. it should definitely not be to the left of G | H. also because already explained, better ALT placement.
