#Any wrist gamers?

I used to be a wrist gamer and then i tried moving my forearm with the mouse and made my aim smoother. Took like 30 minutes to get used to it though
i have good aim
custom curve aim accel , can use low and high dpi at the same time
i used to be a 400/800 dpi user, now my low end is around 100 dpi, and 3200 on the high end
Using acceleration curves is possibly the worst aiming setup advice I’ve heard online
he asked for something new to try
aim accel being ''bad'' is an old outdated concept
No it’s always correct. If you want to move your hand a given distance and learn how far that translates to on-screen input, the only consistently accurate setup is without acceleration
Otherwise 100 flicks will land 100 different places
you will learn those same distances using accel, it is consistent, your curve doesnt randomly jump all over the place it stays the same. muscle memory adapts to anything. you could change your sense every single day and youll be used to it in an hour.
The distance is never the same with acceleration because it is impossible to be as precise with two variables, distance and speed
If you have to accelerate on an identical curve AND travel an identical distance you won’t be as accurate, full stop
my aim has only improved since i started using it so idk what to tell you man. agree to disagree ig. thankfully im not a pro gamer and im free to experiment and try new things and form my own opinion
10 years ago if you would of told people you had magnets in your keyboard and you had a movement advantage for it, you would of been laughed at, but here we all are playing on a magnet keyboard LUL
There’s no opinion, it is empirically less consistent to have two vectors of variability while aiming
tell that to people who change their ADS sense
That’s not a variable, it’s the same sens while you are ADS, no acceleration
yes it is a variable, because you have to now move your mouse faster to accomplish the same as your hip fire
The number of pixels per inch of travel is the same while ADS within that aiming motion
It has to do with the curve of acceleration, not there existing two sensitivities
You’re wrong here and I just want to make sure no one thinks acceleration is in any way a viable competitive setup for shooters when compared to not having acceleration
You’re free to do whatever you want, but I would feel bad if someone else listened to that advice so I have to call it out
if you move your mouse 1 inch on your mousepad with accel, its always going to be the same on your screen, its not going to be random every time you move 1 inch. especially when you get used to it
Completely wrong and I hope you stop repeating this
youve never tried it for yourself i can tell
Brother I lived in the before-times when everyone used acceleration on mice
sure
Dipping out, I’m not here to convince you.
im not here to convince you either, but im not going to be bullied into accepting your narrow minded opinion either
I very clearly stated I don’t care what you do, I’m only replying to make clear to others they shouldn’t ever use acceleration while playing shooters
the OP asked for something new to try so i gave him something. what do you care if some random stranger uses it or not lmao. you obviously do care because youve argued with me about it all day.

download custom curve program and try it out for yourself then get back to me.
the argument that you dont care if i use it, but you care if someone else uses it, is absolutely ridiculous lmao.
My time is better spent keeping the lambs out of the ditch than pulling one lamb out who keeps running back in. Your ego is massive, though.
nah buddy youre the one with the ego, nice attempt at gaslighting tho
