When wootility web detects the Wooting HE+ on a ARM (M1 macbook) it has the Option and Command key in the incorrect position.

Are you sure you have the correct layout/language set in the control panel?

Should be identical to the regular 60HE. Maybe @strong anchor can confirm.

this is because our keyboard comes as a default keyboard layout

i personally swapped the keys so opt/cmd is correct and then have an AHK script on windows to reverse this

this is also why some keyboards have a switch to select windows/mac

Is it possible that switching keys is only active in one profile? so that we can switch the opt/cmd keys (win and alt on windows) and have it the other way when entering a gaming profile. I would like to use it this way. So that I can use the typing profile on mac and still have the better reachable key for free look in some games (without opening the windows menu)...

Sure. You'd just swap those two keys around for that profile.

ok, I changed it yesterday the way it should be on mac.. and it was applied for the other profiles as well. I will give it a try! thanks 🙂

just keep in mind that if you unlink a profile any changes you want on all profiles need to be manually applied to the unlinked profiles
