Configuring a deadzone for key travel end ? (suggestion)
also useful for using o-rings, to prevent misclicks from happening when bottoming out
I talked about this with a friend not too long ago. He had to hold a button and if let go would mean his end (in game). He didn’t make it. He slightly adjusted his finger which caused the key to deactivate. “The only con to Rapid Trigger!” he called it. An adjustable deadzone would be the solution.
Mayor bump.
i don't think i'm talking about the same deadzone here
Why? This would resolve misclicks happening caused by the squeezyness of O-Rings, if that’s what you meant.
there already is a customizable value for rapid trigger release distance
im talking specifically about a deadzone for key bottoming
That’s what this thread is about. An adjustable zone (from 2.5mm until 4mm for example) in which Rapid Trigger is not active. If a key is completely pressed, it’d have to be release by 1.5mm before it’d deactivate despite its 0.15mm RT sensitivity. Makes sense?
yes
itd make more sense ui wise to specify the range in which rapid trigger is active
When Wooting? Whennn?? 😭
