My Wooting 60HE arrived! I've received it opened and retaped though, so it must be either customs, or the guys from inwards goods in our company receiving the shipments.

Anyway, when I opened the box, there is an almost invisible slice mark on the case. This must've been from the guy who opened it.

I know it isn't on your part anymore whether or not the unboxing was mistreated, but I'd just want to bring it up. Thanks!

If you've received a product that isn't in pristine condition, you can return it under warranty for a replacement. A slit in the surface would qualify as such, though this picture makes it very difficult to see.

As for the packaging style, a slipsheet on top of the product could prevent this, but we'd need to weigh out whether the added cost of the slipsheet for 100% of parcels would outweigh the cost of aggressively honoring warranty support for the tiny % of parcels that experience an issue like that. My gut says that it doesn't pencil out to add that as default.
