Dunno. It just does.

It's the stock foam from the wooting case, placed into the blade. Nothing exotic.

If you’re into thock, try a thinner foam inside the case. It should dampen the higher frequencies. For even more dampening of higher frequencies, try the switch tape mod.

I tried it without the foam at all but to be honest I really don't care about the sound as long as the function is there, which it is.

Updated. Removed the foam completely, switched to the O-ring mod. I dig the change.
