Is there any chance that we could see long pole stems in the lekker switches any time soon? I know it sounds somewhat useless with adjustable actuation, but having your travel time cut down by having an elongated pole could make for an even more reactive/responsive switch that what is currently available. Having a lekker switch with a 3.5mm or less (maybe do something crazy like 2.75mm) travel distance would be INSANE.

you can easily shorten the travel distance by putting something between the keycap and switch, like o-rings. There are different hardness orings but even the hardest oring will feel a bit mushy, if you don't want that, glue plastic washers under the keycap or inside the switch.
every mod out there to shorten the travel distance is shit. Making such a switch is not that hard keeping in mind that Gateron is producing the lekker switches and they have a lot of those switches with lower travel distance.
Depends on your skill, the mod can also be exactly as good as how gateron would do it (making the stem rails longer). And you can do that mod by just glueing a piece of plastic under the rails, those are responsible for the travel, they touch the bottom, not the pole. The pole of an HE switch doesn't touch the bottom, it's open. So they can't make a long pole. They can shorten the travel sure but not by making the pole longer. Of course making such a switch isn't hard, no one said it was, it's just expensive and time consuming.
There are more people who want a better sounding and less wobbly switch than people who want less travel distance, so I don't think shorter travel is a priority for wooting, also because that completely defeats the point of having analog keys...
Gateron is having a ton of experience and a ton of existing switches with less travel distance. I don't see that "competing" against a lekker version 2. As you said yourself, just make the side rails longer and thats it. Don't know if your plan is to convince me that such a switch is not needed but I am raising just my voice as a customer. The analog discussion is also not relevant, I don't want wooting to replace existing switches, I would like to have such a switch as an optional purchase so everybody can decide which switch to use.
