Warning this mod will take 4-7 hours or more.
The Switch Tape Mod, made for the Lekker switches, was purposely aimed to reduce or eliminate the full chattering effect of the top housing and stem. Another effect of the mod is stem wobble being reduced depending on the amount of layers used. The maximum layer you can do is three, as two is recommended. Be aware that three layers will fully eliminate the chatter noise and will reduce stem wobble by a lot; another thing to note when performing the mod make sure the tape is fully pressed down flat, as you will have issues with the stem being stuck or having a big bump of tactility. So to perform the mod, you need gentle paper tape (aka medical tape) and tweezers. Starting, you will need to cut a specific or estimated size of the top housing’s stem rails. If doing multiple layers, cut multiple strips, and stack them together. Once that step is done, cut your strip in half, both pieces will be placed on both sides of the top housing which will be shown in the pictures. Then fold the strips into the internals of the top housing then make sure the tape is fully pressed down flat as said from the awareness. If needed, lube a very light layer on the tape if there is either scratchiness or a little tactility bump. After all that your first switch is completed! Now repeat this 60 more times :)
