I was looking through the polling rate for my keyboard to make sure it was actually set to 1000hz polling when i noticed that the polling rate for analog controls are much lower compared to the digital aspects of the keyboard. The Xbox mode seems to poll at 250hz and the generic controller polls at 125hz(!) I propose that in models that would support a higher polling rate there should be at least 500 - 1000 hz options for these boards. If current boards would not support it then I believe that's something that could improve your future boards. I tried increasing the xbox controller mode to 1000hz on my wooting one, but it appears that this board at least cannot handle a consistent 1ms response time. Hopefully the arm based boards will work better. Let me know what you think!

the xbox controller interface is at 250hz just like official xbox 360 controllers
for the generic one idk why it is at 125hz
maybe @eager swallow can shine some light on the decision
yes, I understand that it's meant to match the official. However, I think that analog would benefit a lot from higher polling rates (assuming that it could saturate the connection)
I would like to add an option to control the polling rate of the controller interfaces. I heard from someone in the know, that there are issues with using 1kHz on the Xbox controller interface in some situations, so it's not safe to globally change it.
Any change @coarse sapphire you could open an issue on here: https://github.com/WootingKb/wootility-issues/issues so I can track it easier and keep you updated?c
sounds like a good idea
@eager swallow done :)
Great, thanks :)
500HZ is 100% stable on xbox controllers as there are some that come this way , there are 2 xbox controllers that actually achive 1000hz if its possible to get 500hz id be happy with that over 250
