The current system from what I have heard is borderline unfunctional and causes more confusion that it does help people plan for when their delivery will actually arrive.
A new accurate system I think would do wonders

It's an estimated date based on what's going on, once your order is being shipped out you will get a more definitive date from the tracking number.
There's definitely some work that could be done to make it less confusing.

Yeah thats what I was getting at mostly, a few people ive spoken to so far have found it confusing
