#Wrist Rest kinda meh

Either the coating or the texture are not up to the task of heavy gaming.
Can you elaborate? I've been planning on ordering one but now I need to know whether not it's actually a wise to get one.
It's still a nice Wrist Rest, in fact the best i've ever had. The shiny spot isn't sticky or something
it's just that the texture weared down quite quickly for me
maybe i'm just gaming a bit too hard, who knows
How long ago did you buy it?
early August ordered it and received it around a month ago now
Only a month ago?

thing is that i'm around 200-250h a month at my PC
Same, if not higher. I work from home and frequently switch back and forth between using my work laptop and my pc at the same desk.
Anyways, yeah, i'd blame the texture of it, but it's silicon at the end and a pretty stiff one at that, so it should last a whole life if taken care of
Alrighty, sounds good. Thanks for your help, madam.
It's some sort of rubber material which is going to shine after use , ive had mine since launch and the area that has became shiny hasn't actually worn down any it's just an eyesore but hey mice and keycaps do the same over time
It’s the coating that’s over the entire wrist rest, it helps remove static and adds a bit of soft feeling. It’s a silicone based coating mixture.
It wears relatively fast where the wrist rests, but nowhere else. Due to sweat, rub, wear.
We have a route towards making it last longer using a different manufacturer and technique. But struggling to spend the time to run the complete development.

i think they are really bad made and they are to tall poor design
I've had my wrist rest for almost two years and I would agree with the sentiment, while the wrist rest itself is comfortable it doesn't age well visually
Same here, my old 5 year old logitech wristrest aged better than my 8 month old wristrest
Hopefully a better coating can be developped, comfort wise it's great it just doesn't age well visually
And well considering the price it's slightly frustrating
bro I think its too short
go get them making u a longer one 😄
This picture scares me what is soon to happen to my 80he wrist rest
mine became shiny where my hands sit in like 2 days 🤔
Is it normal for it to take 6 days in waiting for usps to receive it. Because yikes is it slow
That's either USPS' or the warehouses fault. If you got your tracking code it is USPS you gotta blame
My keyboard moved way faster then my wrist rest and they shipped at same time
Says usps is waiting so maybe they haven't gotten it yet or no updates not entirely sure why 0 updates for that long
Hoping that aci logistics didn't lose it
They can't be waiting, because they have to pick it up to begin with. So it's USPS that's responsible for the delay
Ah well then usps you mofos XD
They be slow to go to Compton ca must be a gang war season
/j
Still the keyboard is so gosh dang good I can wait patiently
I hope not because it looks pretty bad
But the wrist rest itself does feel nice just wish it wouldn't wear like how it did
I don't have particularly sweaty hands either so I'm not sure how it happened
well, my current guess is that it's not the sweat or anything, but the coating not being fine enough.
So it behaves like a fabric mousepad, more or less by simply absorbing tiny skin particles
