most keyboards have things on the back to angle the keyboard up or they come built with angle already and I feel the wooting being super flat like it is really throws off my tapping so maybe an outer shell attachment onto the keypad could be a thing u guys could sell or something of the sort? im not too sure but having no angle really is very different to play with

also sorry if this makes no sense I do hope you understand what I’m trying to say here lol
you mean flip out feet. well the angle of where most people tap (zxc or num 123) shouldnt even change to a too big degree. also putting flipout feet on the uwu would be quite hard due to how small the device is
I may make a 3d printable version of the bottom case, with included tilt
I agree with this one, I personally don't use ZX because of the fact that I don't like to have my hand super flat, I use FG for a bit of tilt but not much
Could you send a picture of it, if you make it? 🤔
Sure!
Will require an uwu first tho :3 But probably just gonna be a brass case replica, except with angle
idk if it helps but i play osu on a keychron q2 and it sits higher up and has about id say a 20-25 degree angle on the keyboard so going from that to the flat low profile uwu is just very different
so it does feel quite different to me
Keychron keyboards are generally high and often need to compensate with large angles or wrist rest
uwu height was specifically made not needing a wrist rest and flat for ergo. But of course, you’d have to get used to it.
You can try using some clay or simple stick something underneath for angle and see if it makes a difference for you.
Meanwhile will think if it makes sense to make an angle attachment. The 3D print suggestion was good though
It's possible to make a sort of attachment with wrist rest built in, if that makes sense. I'll see what I can do, (when I finally receive it some itme this week ;3)
Next week will publish the 3D design files, then you might as well print the bottom case at an angle
❤️
cool! thanks for the responses guys I appreciate it! ^^
Dope
I wonder if just using different style keycaps could get the angle you desire
It's more about the wrist angle in itself, keycaps angle shouldn't matter much. But it would help a bit probably 🤔
I guess it's just a case of adapting as with all new peripherals
beyond making a case you could make a slope since the silicone is quite steady
I wouldn't mind just attaching a keyboard slope (the feet one of my old keyboard for example) in there honestly, since I won't travel with the keypad anyways so it's whatever. Still, it should reach my house in like 1 week and then I'll see if the angle is really a big problem, hoping not
so it's next week, where the CAD files
