Not sure how possible this is but having rgb effects react to music or sound would be cool probably not high on the prio list though

i would recommend third party software to control the RGB of the keyboard

  • artemis rgb (supported)
  • project-aurora (unsure if supports audio)

and for rgb we are outclassed by lightyears due to existing tools like artemis and project aurora

workshop should help a bit now

#

can i replicate the touch rgb from wooting on artemis?

#

i want to have it detect only the steering, no other keys

#

i think i remember @drifting walrus having made an analog plugin

#

the wooting plugin has analog supportr but not a lot of effects

#

could be added fairly easily though

hot badger
#

hmm

#

seems there is a problem with the plugin

novel stag
#

NVM

hot badger
#

installed wootility fixed it

hot badger
#

gotten this far now im lost, how to make output on the number row

novel stag
#

i just selected the F1-f12 and applyed the layer to them

novel stag
#

Keep in mind that i uninstalled the Artemis analog sdk so the Data Value connection will be broken

hot badger

ok i copied what both of you did
but its stutterin
like there is the colour i chose
and rainbow at the same time
flicking between the 2

novel stag
#

could you export that profile
(hover over profile and a gear icon shows up with an export option)

#

also it may have to deal with Activation type
mine set to always

hot badger
#

yes its on always too

novel stag
#

i turned off the Data Binding For scale/revert settings and seems to be working for me

hot badger
#

restarted artemis

novel stag
#

ouch

drifting walrus
#

Why add that many nodes lol, you can do it much simpler

novel stag
#

the way i did it was to mimic the wooting Touch
to evenly spread over Fkey gaps i went my route
i havent tryed your method though
(video showcases a bit of a bump but smoother if on F1-f12 keys)

#

but after playing around with it
it works well for even spaced keys alot easier too

hot badger
#

i tried to restart windows

#

and put colours to solid

#

it just starts flashing on its own

#

like the progressive input works

#

but something is bugging out

novel stag
#

just to check are you overlappiong both our methods
as they do not play nice with each outher

hot badger
#

no

#

its just solid red
