Can you use a Wooting keyboard for consoles? I want to play fighting games at locals but they only have PS5s

as just a keyboard yes idk if those work in fighting games. if you want it to work as a controller on a console you will need a XIM apex adapter

Oh that's excellent :) ty again, so if I buy the adapter and bring it to locals I won't need to bring anything else?

they are the defacto adapter people use for using any keyboard/controller not native to a console on a console

as mentioned just make sure your locals allow the adapter

you set your keyboard to generic gamepad mode and bind buttons to an analog profile

once setup it works on any device that supports controllers (in this case the XIM Matrix)

the XIM Matrix translates the controller output of the wooting into PS5 controller data

it also has some extra features which might get you banned from tournaments

I'm planning to build a fightstick in the future as well so I don't mind if its tournament viable
