#CSGO Counter strafing with wooting

Enjoying the keyboard so far, however I am beginning to struggle with consistent counter strafing and overall aim; e.g., my leetify aim rating dropped from 87-90 to 79, and my counter strafing went from being consistently above 80% to at best 80%.

I'm not critiquing the keyboard - its insane - I'm just asking for any suggestions and advice on how to face this issue.

My very first match with wooting, I had an overall aim rating of 96 with rapid trigger on 0.15 and actuation point on 0.1mm. Now I'm on actuation point 1.7 rapid trigger at 0.15 since 0.1mm actuation is too sensitive.

I guess I'm wondering if increasing the value of upstroke rapid trigger might benefit me to reach a more consistent counter strafing?

I've also observed that with rapid trigger set to the min value, one (me) might have troubles adjusting to the rapidness and thus have to retrain the muscle memory of counter strafing. Let me try to explain:

  1. Pre-wooting side motion muscle memory:

Playing csgo for 4k+ hours counter strafing becomes a muscle memory about how long to press a strafe key before you press a counter strafe key when you are e.g., engaged in a long distance ak battle. I'm not talking about prefire counter strafe or a pure counter strafe practice, but rather a live combat scenario where you are engaged in this "side stepping" fire with an enemy. This side motion before counter strafing became a muscle memory. You "know" how long to press a strafe key before you press the counter strafe key and you know what the distance is that you will have travelled in that ms.

  1. Post-wooting side motion:

I've observed that with wooting this side motion distance travelled, because of the rapid trigger, gets shortened and this has an effect on both my own crosshair placement (since I'm expecting a larger distance in my side steps) and on enemy's POV since my rapid trigger stops me almost instantly and I'm not sidestepping much, it seem that I'm basically standing still.

Anybody has similar observations about relearning counter strafing on wooting, especially the pre-counter strafe side motion? I see two options: increase the uptake rapid trigger or relearn what once was a muscle memory.
