Ok so randomly a couple days ago, my rocket league started getting really bad frame drops (300+ to below 45) At first I thought it was my game but I found out whenever I give input with wooting analog my fps crashes. This doesn't happen with normal inputs (WASD) and I'm just really curious as to why this is happening. Any help is appreciated.

It can be related to the Win screen recorder function in the game settings of Windows. If activated Win automatically can starts a screen capture which causes huge frame issues.
I was assuming it was the "switching input methods once every frame" issue personally. Since that's been a longterm problem with RL specifically. 
Yes, but I would not expect such big frame drops from that.
