#DKS 3.6mm bottom out - is this configurable?

Hey, just got my Wooting Two HE. I installed o-rings and now the downstroke is a bit quieter, but the travel per key dropped and I'm not sure I'm "fully pressing" the keys now. In Wootility, for DKAS, activation point is just activation for the key (or global), but the 3.6mm "bottom out" doesn't seem to be changeable - or am I missing something?

It would be great if it was possible to change that; I want to use it for non-gamepad WSAD analog movement, but without the need for physically bottoming out the keys (e.g. activate movement at 0.7, "bottom out" - and sprint) at 2.0).

Visual aid example is emulating the "menu" key, but 3.6mm could be avoided/changed in this example as well

Are there plans to make it adjustable or would it be possible to make it adjustable? I saw that request a few times 😊 Thanks for answering 🙂

Thats a good question. Id assume theres a good reason the last .4mm arent used which might relate to tachyon/RT stability issues of the signal

@zinc hearth would know if this is planned or not to change on HE keyboards. I am 100% sure flaretech keyboards (Wooting One and Wooting Two) wont get this as they also dont have access to the very start of the key travel

#

for TwoHE (and LE) and 60HE this might be possible depending on software gods judgement

The main reason it hasn't been configurable has been due to RAM limitations on the older AVR boards. All ARM boards should be fine, maybe 60HE AVR if I'm lucky, so I intend to add the option to change that at some stage (not sure on timeline yet)
