Has anyone experienced keys suddenly stop working, then only work if you are holding another key down?

For example, on one occasion the number "5" stopped working, but would work if I held down "6" then pressed "5".

Another occasion the letter U stopped working.

I have been able to resolve it in one case by unplugging and plugging the keyboard back in, but it doesn't always work

Did these keys never work when pressed directly or every now and then?

Are you pressing keys before the keyboard calibrates?
