#Double Movement problems with Fortnite

@next vault sorry to bother you by the way, and thanks for the support
oh also my keyboard is a Two HE (ARM)
The previous info was kind of misleading, you don't have a Wooting One.
oh.. my bad then..
There are three ways, using the build in feature of Fortnite, using the native internal feature of the Wooting or via the Double Movement app.
Nowadays the first is the recommended one, then the app and only last due to the limitation of the settings the internal.
i see
So which do you want to use?
so there must be a setting in fortnite that i didn't quite understand right?
let's use the fortnite one since you said it's the best
The last two are working by emulation a controller, which has some downsides like if the inventory is open and you are pressing the movement keys. But I'm not familiar with that game so my knowledge there is quiet limited.
also to use it on games that don't have a built in feature i should use the native internal one right?
But the advantage with the last two options is that you can control the angle depending how deep you are pressing the keys.
yeah that's what i'm looking forward to do
It depends, the Double Movement app is designed for Fortnite. While it works for other games too it's not recommended. For example Epic allowed such tools but other devs may not and consider these as cheating or bot usage.
So for other games it's recommended to use the internal controller emulation.
Ok, for the app you would need to install the analog SDK. The install prompt for that comes after the installation of the desktop Wootility installation.
For that the analog mode of the Wooting don't matter. But you should not use any gamepad bindings. The app works by the RAW analog data.
If you want to use the internal feature the Wooting should be either in classic analog mode or in the Xbox analog gamepad mode. You can change it in the settings menu. For these you need to have gamepad active gamepad bindings on the profile you want to use.
For that it's recommended to use the Xbox mode because some games don't support generic gamepads.
i've tried the app but it doesn't feel analog, the double movement works but it's not analog, doesn't matter how much i press the key
oh right, it says no wooting is detected even after replugging it
should i reset it or something?
oh the app crashed right now
You have a new W2 HE right?
yes
I can confirm that the app isn't working with that yet.
but i've read on the other thread that the development of the app stopped or did i get it twisted
@scarlet spade I know the Double Movement app is not supported anymore but can you please add the support of the new W2 HE (ARM) model.
I guess this is because the analog SDK don't know about the new IDs yet, right?
I would through due to the vendor ID the product IDs aren't really needed anymore and it should be enough to just check for any device with the vendor ID which provides the RAW interface as a generic approach for future models.
I realised an update for the analog SDK yesterday to add 2HE ARM support https://github.com/WootingKb/wooting-analog-sdk/releases/tag/v0.7.3 so should be just a matter of installing this update to get it working
Good point, I should prob do that to make my life a lil bit easier 😅
@hexed remnant I can confirm that with this update it's working now.
i will try it right now, also sorry if my initial info was misleading, thanks for everything
it's my first time installing things like these, which one should i download?
So you are likely on Win otherwise you would know it.
So for Win it's the service installer: wooting_analog_sdk-0.7.3-x86_64.msi
Should I install them all?
At least the first two options need to be installed.
If you don't know what to do maybe trust the recommended options.
Alright now it seems like it's working, i will try it right now, thanks again
it works wonderfully, thank you all and sorry if i had trouble explaining my issues
I just opened my new Wooting 60HE and when I try to enable double movement it says the keyboard is not connected
Look at the posts above.
Wait, you have a W60HE. That should already work. You may haven't installed the analog SDK yet. You can either install it separately from the link above or via the setup of the desktop version of the Wootility.
