the ome from xim themselves in their forum
Yeah but that is for the matrix that’s not out yet
should be the same for the old ones
so set wooting to classic gamepad
configure xim for a generic gamepad
adjust mappings of the gamepad in wootility
done
Ehm why classic gamepass and not xbox is there a difference?
technically the classic one can have more distinct buttons
xbox interfaces are limited to what xbox ontrollers have so 4 face buttons, 2 sticks, 1 dpad, start, select 2 bumpers and 2 triggers
a generic gamepad can have a crap ton more separate inputs
But isn’t xim on the xbox also limited for a xbox gamepad
The XIM will do the translations. XIM takes various gamepads (including generic gamepads) and translates them into XBox (or PS) gamepad signals before sending to the console.

WAIT U CAN XIM ON PC WITH A WOOTING KEYBOARD. BRUH APEX GETTING OUT OF HAND

Cry u 2
Doesn’t that basically mean you could use analog movement in games that don’t support it
But support gamepad
Not sure I understand. Apex works by taking in nearly any USB device input and then translating it to XBox or PS controller commands and then sends them to console. Anything you can do on gamepad, you can do w/ Xim. And most games on console support analog movement don't they since they are played with a gamepad / stick?
I meant pc games like r6 don’t support analog movement from the wooting but with the xim it would work since it’s recognized as a controller
On pc
Ah. Yes. That is because (i'm assuming) RB6 doesn't support "hybrid" controls (Controller + KB&M simultaneously). I'm sure you are aware, but for some that may not be, most games restrict you to one or the other, but not both at the same time.
