A few days ago during a particularly late gaming session I accidentally spilled a glass of beer over my keyboard, ive let it dry for about 48 hours and ive just took the keyboard apart and cleaned all the PCB traces with rubbing alchohol and cotton swabs, it took about 3 hours but the PCB is fully cleaned and thankfully my keyboard is working with no issues!

However when I inspected the keyboard I also noticed a large amount of the lube on the PCB. This is the first time I’ve owned a lubed keyboard and I was wondering how often and if its recommended to re-lube the board. I imagine the special switches require special lube? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks alot!

Lubing the board? Never. Lubing the switches and stabilizers if they feel off? As needed.
